ON MATTERS OF DUBIOUS INTEREST
Many have forgotten how deranged Trump’s first term was. My new book, Trumpworld Begins, publishing February 5, aims to remind us how all the present chaos started. One of the great miscreants of Trump 1.0 was Tom Price, then head of HHS. From the book: I did a little frivolous dialogue with Tom back in 2017 just before he resigned.
It’s hard to know which one to remark on: the healthcare follies, the fraudulent recent speech, the growing number of boats sunk, the Trump-Kennedy Center, cutting loose Ukraine, the gluttonous ballroom, and of course the manhandled Epstein files. Finally, unless I croak, Trumpworld Begins should be published in a couple of weeks. There have been problems, naturally. The book consists of blog posts, from the period 2016 to 2018, that clearly show the chaos unfolding as the participants fumbled their way through Trump 1.
